Can I join the army if I had undescended testicle surgery?

I recently had an undescended testicle removed surgically. Is it still possible for me to join the National Guard. If I need a waiver, what are my chances of getting one?

Yes, you would be accepted.  What the military is screening for is any condition(s) that might require treatment or be disabling during the term of service.

For example, you wouldn't want to send anyone who might need medication or surgery while in the service.

As your problem was fixed, it is not a problem any longer, and would not be likely to cause a problem, so you should be accepted.

You should report any recent or permanent medical conditions when you apply.  You would only be rejected if qualified medical personnel found it would reasonably potentially interfere with your job in the military or could be grounds for future medical liability.  If you look at it that way, I think you might find some logical explanation for the military position on health related issues.

If the National Gaurd won't accept a boy because he has one testicle, what's happened to them?

I mean they are always like, "Enlist today!"  yet are apparentyl picky when it comes to accepting people.
