If I'm against abortion, but supported my best friend when she had one, does that make me a hypocrite? I tried to talk her out of it because I felt she would regret it later, but once she made up her mind, I stood by her and I refuse to turn my back on her under any circumstance, but I'd still like to know how others here feel.

Not at all.  It makes you a very good friend and she's very lucky that she has you.

then you not really against it,your pro choice (meaning you think its the womans choice) this does not have to mean you would ever even consider one just that you think its a personal choice,I would never get one myself either but I wouldn't judge anyone that did

could it be that you are pro-life for yourself but pro-choice for others?  or possibly you are just being a friend and not trying to push your beliefs on her and offering support as she already made her mind up.  either way, i don't think that makes you a hypocrite

Just because you're personally against abortion doesn't mean that you can't be a good friend to someone who's for it. You didn't let your personal beliefs stand in the way of your friendship... so... kudos! No hypocrisy there!
