ADD and BIPOLAR people are people, what are they afriad of?

I don't have ADD or BIPOLAR , I get along with them fine.

People are ignorant and prejudice. ADD, Bipolar, or any other disability does not mean you are stupid because we all have weaknesses, only some people's weaknesses are more noticeable than others. You know the true story of Helen Keller, right? She was blind and deaf and she went to college and gradutated with honors.

maybe because people are completely selfish and are nervous. I have a couple friends who have those disorders and they are my best friends! plus, like some have mentioned, if they hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known! like you, I get along with them just fine, and I actually have the most fun with them.

Have you asked the folk who have difficulty with the other folk who may be a lttle unusual or act differently from them.

It's about difference and about an "us" and "them" attitude.

Perhaps thay believe that anyone different is not good.

This is a VERY BASE animal response.

people may just be nervous? they might not be used to knowing or talking to anyone with that kind of problem.

i know plenty of people with bipolar disorder, and i never would have known it if they didnt tell me!

but i just think people might not know how to act.

People who have those diseases, especially when untreated, are very very annoying.
