To make my day more productive?

I swear, I do absolutely nothing, all day long.

I read, but that's about it?

If you like reading then I suggest that you go to a local bookstore. Border's is my favortie! I would say to go to the library, but people are often unapproachable at the library since no one's really talking. If you go to a bookstore with a cafe in it, you can buy a book and read while you sip a vanilla bean frappe! When your at a place like this, it's also easy to make new friends and then you can hang out with them all day!

I know what you mean. most days i usually have nothing to do. so to prevent boredom, i got a job. that's one idea. grab a friend and go to the movies they'll take a couple hours out of your day and if you see the matinee you'll spend less money. if you have something like CiCi's pizza where ever you are, that's an inexpensive way to hang out with a friend and get some food. (it's an all you can eat buffet for about $6). oh, if you're looking for a book to read, look into "Mystery in the Castle" by Conor Tilden. its an actual book but most of the information is fact and the high school is a real school!

Go do recreational stuff    hang out with friends volunteer or work somewhere theres many things you can doo

Maybe since you like to read so much you could try your hand at writing something yourself. You could possibly go to your local park to people watch, get some ideas, and what not.

You have to get motivated.  Make a list and stick to it.
