Not a great deal you can do at this time of night. I used to have terrible knees and found there is no instant answer. I did intense physio for a year and they are much better now, I still keep it up to avoid them going backwards. Maybe, if you can bear things for a while you can get help via your doctor or a physio. I used to find a bag of frozen peas eased the pain, but if you haven't got one in your freezer you will have to wait for a lift because although Tesco and Asda etc operate 24 hour stores, you can't get there because you can't walk.
