i had this huge black head, so i steamed my face and popped it

but i woke up this morning and it was like this disgusting scab thing and it was all red, its gross.

how can i get rid of that faster

You did the right thing in steaming it open. You should have also applied antiseptic before and after. Apply an antibiotic cream (Neosporin, for example) and keep the area clean.

The "disgusting red scab thing" you found probably included some old blood that has now hardened.  Do not pick at or remove the scab.  You could, if you have, pour a couple of drops of hydrogen peroxide on top to cleanse the area.  If you have any Neomycin or Triple antibiotic ointment, put a little on and cover with a small, round band-aid spot.  Then wait patiently for it to heal without a scar.  Faster will not be better.

You'll prob just have to wait for it to naturally heal if you want to avoid further scarring. To help it heal faster dont pick at it and gently clense it and wash w/ peroxide if you have some. Be careful though. Sorry, but popping pimples is something you DON'T want to do, it just leaves scars, next time try using an anti-pimple cream w/ benzoyl peroxide. It'll get rid of it quickly with minimum scarring. Or try Burt's Bees Doctor Herbal Blemish Stick, I love it and found that it gets rid of pimples and blemishes within a couple days.
