A girl is born with a hymen, obvs. But if I've used tampons or 'sex toys' but never had sex, would that hymen be ruptured? And where exactly IS my hymen?

It's on the outer ring of the vagina. It doesn't really break, it just stretches supposedly.

The hymen is a small ring of skin that partially covers the entrance to the vagina.



Sometimes tampons can split the hymen, as can vigorous exercise. I imagine a sex toy inserted into the vagina has a good chance of spitting it but you would know if it had happened as there would be blood.
