As you can see, age increases risk, family history increases risk, and so does the items listed below along with other things.
GERD can cause esophageal pain that resembles chest pain.
Are you on any medicine for GERD? you should be.
Examples are PrevAcid, Nexium, and Prilosec (OTC).
IBS causes terrible pain, as I have it myself. Hopefully you have meds to control it.
If you have increased risk, an ECG would not hurt.
If you have had an echocardiogram within the past year, you really dont need further evaluation until 1 year is up.
