Yes, they can get pimples, but you probably have an irritation from shaving. It's fine, just try to wear cotton underwear and treat the area with care.

Well, if you are shaving your nether-regions, you can certainly get an ingrown hair...



Since you refer to it as looking like a "pimple" I wouldn't worry overmuch about it, but if it is a LUMP, then go to the doctor because you have lymph nodes in the region that can get cysts on them that may need to be lanced.



A warm compress/bath may help, but I would recommend you defer your personal landscaping routine at the present time while it resolves or you receive treatment.

It's probably razor burn. Use really good shaving cream the next time. They also sell stuff that is made specifically for preventing razor burn, and I think it works pretty well. Also, after I shave, I usually put unscented lotion in the area I shaved.

I would need  to look at it before I could give you a proper diagnostic. OK serious here it is just a in grown hair or something. Or a Razor bump.

If you've had sex (even protected) and it doesn't look like shaving rash, get it checked out - you could have a STD.

Otherwise you should be OK but if it doesn't heal se a doc.

Yes, there are oil glands down there so naturally there can be the occasional pimple. Just like face acne, some people experience it and others don't.

you probably got the red bump from the razor. probably razor burn
